Yeshe De Text Preservation Book Project

Welcome to the Tibetan Book Project!

The Tibetan Book Project is dedicated to preserving and distributing Tibetan Texts, and therefore preserving Tibetan culture and Tibetan Buddhism. Please look around our site to learn more about our history , how you can be a resident volunteer with the Tibetan Book Project or to see how we make these sacred books.

The Yeshe De Tibetan Book Project is part of Tibetan Nyingma Meditation Centers (TNMC), a mandala of organizations aimed at aiding Tibetans and transmitting Buddhist teachings in the western world. The printing press and bindery of the Tibetan Book Project is located at the Ratna Ling Retreat Center in Sonoma County, CA. It is affiliated with Odiyan, Dharma Publishing, Tibetan Aid Project, and Nyingma Institute.

The Tibetan Book Project is an entirely non-profit operation. All our books are given free of charge to Tibetan monks, nuns and lay people in Asia. All volunteer staff have made a commitment to this work and donate their services as a spiritual practice. With over thirty years of publishing experience, the Tibetan Book Project has developed unique methods and skills for the production of both traditional and Western-style Tibetan Buddhist texts.
