Offering texts to all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism is central to our project. To achieve the right formula for the most equitable distribution of texts, we consider such factors as location and size. Our aim is to give appropriately across the entire range of Dharma centers, from dominant monastic institutions and their branches to smaller, less established and more autonomous Dharma centers, to informal lay congregations, refugee settlements, and even family shrines. Priority is given to institutions of learning and practice, including monasteries, shedras, and retreat centers, but we balance these distributions with offerings to laypersons and families.
